Exciting Updates: CNN Debut & Library Access for "What's Wrong with My Teen?"

Posted by Susan B. Raphael, 1

Real Conversations, Real Solutions

I’m thrilled to share two exciting updates with you!

First, I made my CNN debut with Audie Cornish, discussing the realities families face when addiction enters their lives—even in the context of fame, fortune, and access to resources. Addiction does not discriminate, and neither does the heartbreak and complexity of trying to help someone you love. You can watch the full segment here: Watch on CNN

Second, my guide for families navigating teen addiction, What’s Wrong with My Teen? Finding Answers to Teenage Addiction and Family Crisis, is now available at the Toronto Public Library. This means it’s easier than ever for parents, caregivers, and professionals to access a practical, compassionate resource that supports difficult conversations, boundary setting, and hope for recovery. You can find it at your local branch or explore the catalog online.

Thank you for being part of this community and for supporting meaningful conversations about teen mental health and addiction.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season filled with hope and gratitude,
