Emerging Adulthood vs. “Failure to Launch”

One of the best things about the work I get to do on a daily basis is the privilege I have of getting to know other professionals whose work I admire and continue to be inspired by.

I met Peter Allan at a professionals weekend in Utah this past March, hosted by Evoke Therapy Programs and Dr. Brad

Peter wrote an article on how important language is when working with young adults. The notion of failure to launch vs. emergent development in young adults is discussed in depth.

I’ve enclosed Peter’s article and Brad’s podcast that also references the article:

Thanks to Peter and Brad for this valuable information!
